Five new flydubai flight additions in 2026 across Africa, Asia and Europe
Seasonal routes return for peak summer travel demand
DUBAI – flydubai is set to expand its international footprint in 2026 with a series of new routes and increased services across Africa, Asia and Europe.
The Dubai-based carrier is strengthening connectivity through its hub at Dubai International (DXB), while continuing to target underserved markets and high-demand seasonal destinations.
With these additions, the airline expects its global network to surpass 100 destinations by summer 2026.
Benghazi
flydubai will launch direct flights to Benghazi in Libya on 17th June 2026, becoming the first UAE carrier to operate services to Benghazi Benina International Airport (BEN). The route will operate three times a week from Terminal 3 at Dubai International (DXB), marking a new direct link between the UAE and Libya.
With this addition, flydubai’s East and North Africa network grows to 13 destinations across nine countries. The new service strengthens trade, tourism and connectivity options for travellers using Dubai as a transit hub.
Bangkok
From 1st July 2026, flydubai will operate a daily service to Bangkok, increasing its capacity in Thailand and expanding options for travellers to Southeast Asia. Bangkok becomes the airline’s second destination in the country alongside Krabi.
The daily frequency is designed to support rising demand from both leisure and business travellers, while reinforcing Dubai’s role as a global connection point between Asia, Africa and Europe.
Europe
flydubai will restart its seasonal summer operations to several popular European destinations from 22nd May 2026. These include Bodrum, Dubrovnik, Mykonos, Santorini and Tivat, which return to the network during peak travel months.
The reinstated routes cater to strong summer demand across Mediterranean and Adriatic leisure markets, offering increased travel options during the busiest holiday period of the year.
Africa
The airline has also expanded its African footprint with Nairobi added as its second destination in Kenya after Mombasa. This strengthens flydubai’s East Africa connectivity and supports growing regional demand.
In addition, seasonal operations to Al Alamein in Egypt will operate during the summer period, further enhancing the airline’s North Africa leisure network during peak travel months.

flydubai’s wider growth strategy continues to accelerate, with its global network expected to exceed 100 destinations by summer 2026. The expansion is supported by the flydubai and Emirates codeshare partnership, enabling smoother connections, single-ticket itineraries, through check-in of baggage and access to a wider combined network.
Return Business Class fares from Dubai to Benghazi start from Dh 10,500, while Economy Class Lite fares start from Dh 4,500. From Benghazi to Dubai, Business Class fares start from $2,500 and Economy Class Lite fares from $800. Flights operate from Terminal 3 at Dubai International, with bookings available via flydubai.com, the official app, contact centre and authorised travel partners.
